ACADEMIC REWARD PROGRAMS

CJSF: California Junior Scholarship Fund Meets periodically and hopes to visit two college campuses this year. There is specific criteria to be a member. This club is for 8th grade students. https://csf-cjsf.org/

What is Honor Society and why join it?

Honor Society is a club that rewards students for academic excellence. This club will go on a field trip each trimester AND conduct a community service project. This club is for 7th grade students; 6th grade students are eligible after the first trimester

Renaissance Program: At Ustach, we value students who are motivated in academic achievement, attendance and good behavior, and this program rewards these students. Here is how it works: Gold card are students with a GPA of 4.0 during a given trimester, Silver card are students with a GPA of 3.99 to 3.0 and Teal card for students with a GPA of 2.99 to 2.0. D's or F's are not acceptable.

With each card, students receive prizes during the school day, homework passes and dropped quizzes, front of the lunch line passes, admittance to special assemblies, and access to after school activities only for Renaissance students.

Please encourage your child to strive for this great honor as the staff here at Ustach Middle School will be doing their best to help your child get there. If you have any questions, ideas, suggestions or would like to help with the program you can contact the office.
